I encourage you to do something today that moves you towards a greater, more purposeful life. Please don't wait until tomorrow to do something that will move you in the direction of your dreams. Sometimes we procrastinate too long before we do the activities that will have the most significant impact for our lives. I don't know about you, but if I think of some of the goals I want to achieve I can quickly feel overwhelmed. The feeling of overwhelm can squelch any motivation I had. The demotivating thoughts are usually about the "how" of accomplishing my goals. "How on earth am I going to achieve this goal?" My limiting beliefs questions me, "Careful you don't fail. You have never done this before. How are you going to achieve that goal?" My answer, "I don't know. Your right limiting belief I should stop pursing this goal because I can't figure out all the hows yet."
I spend too much time researching, studying, analyzing how others have done the "how". Stressing about the perfect "how" for too long can make anyone question their goals and quit pursuing their dreams. Let's work on planning the best we can and addressing all the "hows", but then quickly get to work on taking action. Even the smallest, most inconsequential step towards our dreams is at least a step. Remember the "hows" of reaching a goal are the easy part, remaining clear and 100% committed to the "why" of the goal is the hard part. Do something today to create a better tomorrow.
